AD | This post features products that have been gifted to me in exchange for inclusion in this gift guide. All opinions are honest and my own.
In today’s world, most of us live busy and chaotic lives. It’s safe to say that we could all do with a bit more self-care and pampering in our lives. If you’re struggling to know what to buy for your friends and family this Christmas, you can’t go wrong with giving them something that will help them to relax, take time for themselves and feel pampered.
In this gift guide I will be sharing 7 pampering Christmas gifts, which would make unique and thoughtful presents for the people who already have everything they thought they needed, but perhaps hadn’t given quite enough care and attention to their own wellbeing. All of these products are things that I have personally used this year and have loved, so they have my full recommendation. I hope you will find some good ideas and inspiration here.
7 Pampering Christmas Gifts for 2024
1. The Edinburgh Skincare Company: Golden Rosewood Mineral Bathing Sensation Bath Salts
These lovely bath salts were kindly sent to me by The Edinburgh Skincare Company to include in this gift guide. They are pure Himalayan pink salt crystals with an essential oil blend of Rosemary, Red Mandarin, French Provencal Lavender, Basil, and Jasmine. This blend is designed to be deeply relaxing, as well as healthy for your body and skin.

The first thing I noticed when testing out these bath salts is that the scent is very strong. This makes a nice change from many bath products I’ve tried that have a faint scent that gets lost once you add them to the bathwater. This was not the case with this product – the scent was strong and persisted even after I’d emptied the bath!
The crystals are a lovely pink colour, which makes them visible in the bath. I found that they don’t totally dissolve, at least not in the 30 minutes or so I spent in the bath (maybe they would, given more time). When I swished the water, the smaller bits would disperse, but then they would all settle back on the bottom of the bath. This was not a problem, but just interesting to note, as I expected them to dissolve. The crystals left a slight pink residue on the bath, but it wiped off easily.

Overall, these bath salts made for a relaxing and pleasant smelling bath and they would make a great Christmas gift to pamper a loved one.
2. The Edinburgh Skincare Company: Sweet Orange and Geranium Solid Bath Oils
Along with the bath salts, I was also sent the sweet orange and geranium solid bath oils. These are small, heart-shaped bars made from cocoa butter, infused with orange, geranium and rose essential oils, and topped with rose petals. You get 4 in a pack, and they are so cute and pretty! They would make an aesthetically pleasing as well as functional Christmas gift.

These solid bath oils smell strong, and I really love the scent. The orange and geranium come through strongly, and the bar also smells chocolatey, due to the cocoa butter.
The bar slowly melts into the bathwater, making it visibly oily. My skin felt soft and moisturised, and rather oily. I always rinse myself off in the shower after having a bath, which makes me feel cleaner, and even after that, my skin still felt moisturised and slightly oily, but the oily feeling didn’t last all day and was not a problem.
Cocoa butter is known for it’s moisturising effects, and the essential oils have many health benefits too. This is truly a great Christmas gift to support your loved one’s wellbeing.

3. Vegamour: GRO Hair Serum
Earlier this year, I tried out a range of hair products from Vegamour, and the GRO Hair Serum is my favourite. If you have anyone in your life who is into haircare, or who you know is trying to grow their hair longer and stronger, this serum would be a great gift for them. It comes in a pretty, pink and gold pipette bottle, and you simply apply a pipette-full of the serum to your scalp every day and massage it in. It is supposed to make your hair grow longer, stronger and faster.
I’ve been having good results with it so far – it’s too early to see a dramatic difference in my hair but I definitely notice less hair falling out than I used to, and I think it is growing in thicker too.

4. Electimuss London Luxury Fragrances: Discovery Set
Perfume is a classic Christmas gift, and a spray of nice-smelling perfume can make a world of difference to your mood, confidence and wellbeing. If you’re looking for something high-quality, luxurious and a little different, I can recommend Electimuss London’s perfumes which I tested out earlier this year. I tried their Discovery Set and I was impressed with the strength, longevity, variety and uniqueness of their fragrances. I discovered some new favourite scents that I have been enjoying wearing ever since.
If you already know what kinds of scents your loved one is into, you could get them a full-sized bottle, but this is risky as you never really know if they will like it. A safer Christmas gift option is to get them the Discovery Set that I tried, because it contains a generous 20 perfume samples so there is bound to be something they like.

5. Simba: Hybrid® Pillow
One of the best ways to experience overall better wellbeing is to get better sleep. A big factor in this is comfort, and there are certain products that can help improve your comfort at night. Earlier this year, I was kindly gifted the Simba Hybrid Topper and Hybrid Pillow, and I’ve been really impressed with them. It’s been like sleeping on a cloud!
If you have a loved one who struggles to sleep, Simba products could make a thoughtful Christmas gift this year. The products are quite an investment because you pay for quality, but if you are on a budget, the pillow would be the most budget friendly option and even on it’s own can make the world of difference to your sleep, with it’s height adjustability and temperature regulation.

6. Manifestation Pulse: The Guided Gratitude Journal
We’ve mostly been focusing on physical wellbeing so far in this post, but of course, mental wellbeing is just as important. One way to improve your mental wellbeing is by keeping a gratitude journal, and thats why The Guided Gratitude Journal by Manifestation Pulse is one of the best pampering Christmas gifts you could give.
I’ve been filling in this journal (not every day, but most days) since the spring, and I’ve found it really valuable for gaining perspective in life and realising that I have so much to be grateful for. The thing I especially love about this gratitude journal is that it’s not just a blank notebook. It is packed full of different prompts on every page to help you think of things to write if your mind ever goes blank.

7. A good book
Reading is a wonderful self-care activity – it’s so relaxing to sit down with a good book and get lost in another world. A book would make a fantastic Christmas gift for any keen reader in your life. If you’re stuck for recommendations, here are some books (in a wide variety of genres) that I’ve enjoyed reading this year:
- Gail Honeyman – Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine
- Rupert Isaacson – The Horse Boy
- Liz Fenwick – The Path To The Sea
- Daniel Goleman – Emotional Intelligence
- Richard Osman – The Thursday Murder Club
- Donna Ashworth – Life
- Neil Shubin – Your Inner Fish
- Jenny Colgan – Maggie Adair series
- Peter Gethers – The Cat Who Went To Paris
