Affirmation – Every Day I am Learning and Growing

The text below is an extension of the affirmation above. I write my affirmation posts as though pondering and affirming the ideas to myself, and I invite you to do the same if they resonate with you. The below is not necessarily a description of my current experience.

Every day I am learning and growing.

Everything I do teaches me something and helps me to grow as a person. When good things happen, and things go well, I know that I am on the right track. I learn to keep on doing the things that led things to go well.

Every time I have great interactions with people, and fun and rewarding social occasions, I am improving my social skills. I am also learning things from other people because they see life from a different perspective to me, and have different knowledge and experiences that they can share.

Every time I do an action, I get more efficient and experienced at it. I have the ability to improve my skills in anything that I choose to do, even if it takes a lot of practice. Everything I read, watch or listen to is a direct source of knowledge for me. By seeking out the right materials, I can learn and improve my knowledge in any area. I can apply this knowledge in practical ways to improve my life.

When things don’t go to plan, or I feel sad, frustrated or anxious, I learn that perhaps I was not on the right track. It teaches me to make changes and do things differently. But even by going through these difficult situations, I get better and better at coping with them. I learn strategies so that I can bounce back more easily each time.

When I make mistakes, I know that this is inevitable as a human being, and so I see them as a lesson rather than a downfall. I am grateful for my mistakes because they teach me not to make the same mistake again.

There is always a lesson to be learned from everything in life, so I take comfort through the difficult times in knowing that something positive can come of them. I just have to recognise the lesson and let myself grow from the experience. With every day that passes, little by little I am becoming stronger and stronger.

i really love the idea of affirmations, both for myself and for the important people in and around my life – and especially during lockdown – feels like we could all use a lot more of this kind of positive energy.

I love affirmations too although sometimes I am not consistent with using them! This one is a classic for me though! We could definitely use lots of positive energy at this time.
